Program Description

Pick up from the hotel. Travel by the Transfagarasan highway, running through the Fogaras Mountains, to the Balea waterfall. Further transfer and free time at the glacial Lake Balea. Then transfer to the ruins of the Cistercian Abbey of Cârţa. Despite the passage of time, you can still find well-preserved architectural elements on the site, such as capitals, keystones, windows and consoles, and even a 15th-century west portal. Then transfer to Samuel Brukenthal's palace, which was built in 1788. Visit the palace and the extensive palace park. Transfer to the hotel.
