Program Description
In Hong Kong, it's hard to take your eyes off everything happening around you. Ferries cross the harbour, skyscrapers rise side by side, and the waterfront is constantly buzzing with activity. Now imagine rising above it all for a moment, taking in the sights of a city that rarely slows down. The Hong Kong Observation Wheel is a famous Ferris wheel standing 60 metres tall, offering views of one of the world's most recognisable skylines.
Your ride begins on the waterfront in the Central district, where you'll step into a gondola and slowly rise above the harbourfront. Before you stretches Victoria Harbour, surrounded by impressive buildings. From above, you'll see ships and ferries crossing its waters, along with the distinctive skyscrapers that have long been a symbol of Hong Kong.
On the opposite side of the harbour, you'll spot Tsim Sha Tsui, one of Kowloon's best-known districts. As the wheel turns, you can admire the striking urban landscape on both sides of the water. Its gentle rotation gives you time to take in the architectural details, spot notable landmarks and capture photographs of Hong Kong's impressive skyline.
Each time of day brings a different atmosphere to the experience. During daylight hours, Hong Kong's skyline reveals the details of its architecture and the constant movement of boats across the harbour. After dark, thousands of lights illuminate the city, their reflections shimmering across Victoria Harbour. If you choose an evening ride, you'll see the metropolis in one of its most spectacular settings.
A ride on the Hong Kong Observation Wheel offers a chance to take a moment away from the bustle of the city while remaining right in its heart. Whether you visit during the day or in the evening, the views of Victoria Harbour and the surrounding skyscrapers are sure to leave a lasting impression.
